Venue Details
We believe we have hit on a winner in all spheres and are delighted to host our 2010 event at the Beehive Camping and Function venue, a facility owned and run with great attention to detail by Gary and Carola Redinger.
As a private property the facilities are fully fenced and access is limited to participants, their supporters, spectators and race officials.
It is important for parents with children to bear in mind that the property is bordered by a stream, the Heinespruit, and there is a swimming pool on the premises. The pool will be fenced but it is parents’ responsibility to ensure that their children do not swim or play near the stream unsupervised.

Our aims is to offer the best value for money Mtb event possible. We do not aspire to offer the biggest event, nor the toughest. We do not offer the biggest prize money, nor brag of the steepest hill nor biggest drop off .Our aims is to offer the best value for money Mtb experience. We aim at entertaining every Mtb enthusiast in the family. We will achieve this by offering an event , which is run by mountain bikers with courses set by mountain bikers.
The event is based on the format of a two day stage race. Cyclists doing the Full Stage will do a 60km ride on Saturday and our challenging 45km course on Sunday. In line with our aim of appealing to the whole spectrum of Mtb enthusiasts we also simultaneously offer a “Half Stage” event. These cyclists will do a 31km ride on Saturday and a 26km ride on Sunday. The Half Stage event is aimed at appealing to those Mtb’ers who looking for a less strenuous outing.
On both days we also offer a Fun Ride of 10km and a Kids Ride of approximately 3km to ensure that there is entertainment for all.
For those unfortunate enough to only visit us for one of the days we do offer the rides to be done individually.
The rides on Sunday are part of the N3TC Classic which is part of the KZN Super Classic series in which licensed riders can accumulate provincial points.
